Momstyle: Date Night

Life has been so intense lately that Dave and I have not had many of the intentional conversations that we desire to have in order to stay connected. This week on our date we tried taking some time at the beginning of our date to be alone to think through some questions we had for each other. We then talked about our answers over dinner.
A few of our questions for each other were:
- What are some hopes or dreams that God is stirring in you that I don't know about?
- Is there anything you need to hear from me?
- What are some of our parenting goals and how can we pursue those?

I would love to hear from you what you do to facilitate conversations on your dates?

We also love having a prayer journal where we record our requests and watch how God continually moves in our lives so lovingly.

And on a much less important note, here is the thrifted oufit that I wore :)

  1. amazing. food for thought for us as we know we need to be more intentional with our marriage.

  2. I love the boldness of the red and sequined top...and as far as facilitating conversations, it happens everywhere and anywhere. Even when the significant other is in the shower or on the toilet...

  3. I am just discovering my Raleigh thrifting locations...so far I really like one right off of 70 just north of Brier Creek Parkway (not sure of the name)-the skirt was purchased there and also the Goodwill in Brier Creek. Let me know if you find any good ones too!!
