So grateful for a husband who sent me away for 24 hours with the women from our small group for some R & R.
Beside a whole lot of delicious dining, we, of course, had to hit up a local thrift store.
And while everyone participated in the browsing...
without fail, I left with the most stuffed bag.
Here's to spending my December clothing budget in mid-November!
(and here's what I found :)
Great finds! I wish you were here to help me learn to thrift shop more successfully...

Hi! I'm your newest follower. I just found your blog and I'm so glad I did. I can't wait to come back when I have more time and look around. Nice to "meet" you. :)
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog (Kate from The Simple Things blog linked you). She mentioned that you have a method for finding great things in thrift stores and that you taught people at church how to do it. I don't live close enough to go to your church, but I would LOVE to read about your method here on your blog. I like to shop in thrift stores, but it's totally overwhelming sometimes the way things are jammed on the racks. Would you consider blogging about your method?
ReplyDeleteEmily, me too!
ReplyDeleteRachel, actually my budget is $50 per month for our whole family! Normally it is spent on me if I am honest :)
Barb, welcome! So glad you are here.
Dana, I love that idea and am actually working on partnering with Kate to bring this to my readers and her readers! Look for it in the coming weeks!
